Custom Categories Mod and Search

Hello,
I just installed the custom category mod and it works great. When you click on the custom category from the main index page under 'Browse Categories", it takes you to the custom category template created for that specific category. All the extra fields show up just fine. This category is for real estate, so I have modified this showlistings template to display extra fields such as # of bedrooms, baths, square feet, etc. I named this template “realestate1.tpl”. and uploaded it to my modules/customcats/templates/cattemplates folder.

However, when you do an advanced search and look for ads that fall under this custom category, the advanced search does return the results of the custom “realestate1.tpl” file I created. It only shows the results of the default search template.

Is there any way I can make the advance search display the results of “realestate1.tpl” I created?
I am using 4.1.6
