Please start putting down what you think are the basic requirements.

- forums.digitalpoint.com has a very good facebook login/register integration.

- rpx (janrain now) has a module that is also very interesting

Why expend your energies on a Facebook module David? If Templatecodes could unify login between 68C and Joomla that would immediately open up access to Facebook, MySpace, Dugg, Twitter and most other social networking platforms.

I've been using the Jomsocial extensions on a number of Joomla sites. The marketing power of creating a community around your 68C site is obvious - I'm very happy with my own attempt at this.

Straight question. Would Templatecodes consider creating a 68C/Joomla login module? I would pay for that and so, I believe, would a huge section of the Joomla community.

Micheal,

I have actually already been down this road and the cheapest quote I got was $2500 .... Not something im capable of or even willing to partly pay towards

Although im not using it at present I have the ability to drag the top level menu out of the joomla database and output it on its own in a php file for inclusion on the 68c site.

I think having a usershare with joomla is ok as a get by but to have a fuller integration would be more ideal so you can place various things in various module positions.

Just my thoughts...

68classifieds is a standalone script and should be used as such. Integration with other scripts is a overkill and i don't see any advantages for this.

The facebook module, to come again to the topic, should only extend the functionality and improve the usability of 68classifieds for end users. Everything else is, again, overkill.

I'm using the rpx (janrain) wordpress plugin on one of my websites and this has the whole set of unified logins, so people with yahoo, msn, twitter, facebook accounts can login and participate in the website. Great for users,
great for the site, great for me.

The facebook plugin for 68classifieds, yes i will support this.
