Key Features: Modules

For version 3.1, we have incorporated a new module system in 68 Classifieds. This allows you to turn modules on or off and add new ones with ease. 68 Classifieds comes with a number of modules that you can plug into your site. The following modules are included free with your purchase of 68 Classifieds but you can also find others in our modifications section.

Ad Notification
The ad notification module allows visitors to sign up to receive an email whenever a listing is added to your classifieds site that matches their key terms.

Ad Reporting
The ad reporting module enables site visitors to quickly report an ad that may contain questionable content or that may be invalid.

Rating System
The rating system allows people to rate listings or members. You can set it up to allow for either option (members or listings) or for both. This helps potential buyers by showing them the rating of sellers.

Seller Store
The seller store is a section that allows registered users to insert text and an a logo which will appear when someone is viewing all their listings. This helps give them brand identity and allows you to use it as a marketing tool.

vBulletin UserShare
This module plugs into 68 Classifieds and allows you to share users with vbulletin. The vBulletin usershare allows forum members to use the same login to enter the classifieds, and if they first register with 68 Classifieds it will automatically register them for your forums. vBulletin and 68 Classifieds can be installed into the same database or into different databases at the same server.

phpbb UserShare
This module plugs into 68 Classifieds and allows you to share users with phpBB. The phpBB usershare allows forum members to use the same login to enter the classifieds, and if they first register with 68 Classifieds it will automatically register them for your forums. phpBB and 68 Classifieds can be installed into the same database or into different databases at the same server.

US Zip Code Search
This mod gives your site users the ability to search listings by zip code. This only works with United States Zip Codes.

Search Engine Friendly URL's
This modification configures 68 Classifieds to run with friendly urls. This makes your site easier to spider by search engines and also makes it easier to look at the url. This modification does require your server to use mod rewrite through a .htaccess file. So it must be run on an apache server.
