1. Can you tell us a little about your site.

We designed Closeout Floor Samples to cater to small business, or to anyone who makes a product. Our site allows people to list their items or services and add a link to their website. We want small business or anyone with a great product to be successful. We also want to show the consumer that they can get a great deal from their local businesses.

Many people don’t realize that small business is the backbone of our country. Yes, large corporations have a lot of clout, but if we were to take a look at the whole business community, small business owners far outweigh the corporate name brand companies. What this means is that there are a lot of local shops in your back yard with great products and services. Closeout Floor Samples wants to help the consumer find the best deal around from businesses in their local area. This allows the community to grow stronger through a network of interrelations. We want the best for the small business owner and their community!

2. That is a great looking site. Did you design it yourself?

I built the design template myself, though I have to say that without the help of the 68 classified staff I would still be trying to figure out things. These guys are awesome and always willing to give you a nudge in the right direction (or a push in my case).

3. What made you choose 68 Classifieds?

I have done a lot of research online on different classified scripts. I have looked at a lot of the free scripts and compared them to the scripts for sale. Without a doubt 68 Classified software outweighs the rest by leaps and bounds. 68 Classified script goes very deep and allows a wide range of variables to tweak and or modify. I bought the Developer edition and am extremely happy with it.

5. What was the easiest part in building this site?

The easiest part of building the site was going through the admin section (once I was up and running) and configured all of my settings. The back end is very intuitive.

6. What was the hardest part?

The hardest part of building the site was incorporating my template into the 68 Classified script. It was my first attempt at working with smarty templates and ended up rebuilding my template from within the default template. If you are a smarty novice like me, I would recommend starting with their template and then building from that. The sky’s the limit when it comes to this script.

7. Any additional details you would like to share?

I would like to say one more thing. If it wasn’t for the 68 Classified script and support staff I would still be in research mode, trying to make something work through something far less superior. I highly recommend this script! Thanks again.
