Hello,

Can I set up just one category for just Business Ads and let them list for one year and then set up the others as just categories for classified ads to list for 30 days.

Yes you can Ron, you can set up as many different 'Listing Packages' as you need. You can set the price and expiry time individually for each one.

Thanks for the quick reply and I'm glad you had a nice vacation.

When I set up this 'Listing Package" to be used for businesses only the business will enter all the information and it will be posted with what information I want them to display and unless the business information is renewed it will automatically expire on the time that is listed in the Listing Package Setup.

(I sure hope I explained this right)

That is correct, you may need to make some mods if you want the site to run as a classifieds site and a directory. There are many programmers on here who can do this for you.

I have a feeling that the business ad listing package has to be set up with categories and sup categories (just like classified ads) so the business can post in a certain category......or.....is there a way to just let them list in any category they want.

Im not really too sure that I get you here and I may need a little more information.

You want a classified site for ads, but also you want a business directory?

You can have to main head categories Business Directory & Ad Categories.

Then build sub categories underneath this.

Also if you are interested, my Classified Software allows for this exact situation with the minimum of setup.

It might have a few too many features for what your needs are Im not sure.
