Default Automated email sent to users who delete active listings

We are finishing up a mod that automatically emails our users when they delete active listings. The idea behind this is based on the assumption that if someone is deleting an ACTIVE listing, they are probably doing so because they have sold their item. And since they sold it, it means they are probably happy with our services, and now is a really good time to ask them for feedback (a testimonial).

This feedback can then be posted on our site for potential customers to see and hopefully help convince them that our service is indeed worthwhile.

We have been using it successfully for a couple of weeks and the feedback we have received has indeed been from happy customers - we will be using their glowing praise very soon to hopefully pull those fence-sitting customers over to our side.

Does this sound like something that would interest anyone else? If so, we'll plan to distribute it.

I'd be interested, but for a slightly different reason: I plan to run "honor classifieds" where I let people post for free but ask them to make a payment if they sell their item. It would be nice to send them a little reminder when they delete their ad.

This mod would work fine for that as well - you'll have full control over the email contents.

Id be interested in this as well.
However I am beta testing right now the Sold mod from www.mods.auscity.com
Using this sold mod I what my users to delete listings only through sold option. I mean they will mark ad as sold first and after several days it will be deleted automatically.

Civ, would be possible to use your mod in situation like this, if users mark the ad as sold but the ad not deleted from database yet.

This mod currently requires you to add a hook (this requirement should be eliminated by 3.1.6), so I suppose you could add it within another mod and it would work just fine.
