I believe the only way to specify this would be to use the smtp options. You will probably need to insert the mail server, username, and password for the account.

Hi Mully, I'll jump in here:

If you have "Use SMTP Server for email" (found in Main Settings) set to "No", the script will use the php mail function and send mail from the server the script is installed in.

If your host says you need to use a different mail server (and provided an IP address), then you must use SMTP. Enter the IP address given in the "SMTP Server Address" and fill out the other SMTP fields for username and password. Check with your host for the correct username and password to use, as username formats are not universal for all mail servers.

If you still have problems, verify that your host has enabled SMTP AUTH, which allows mail to be sent with a username and password. There is another common setup for SMTP called POP-BEFORE-SMTP, which allows mail to be sent only from IP addresses that have been used to log in to CHECK mail (POP) recently (the allowable time is usually set in minutes, not hours).

Good luck, hope you get it sorted out quickly.

Yip no big surprise was hosters issue after they tried to blame it on code for 5 hours they finally fixed it. Can anyone recommend a hoster out there with good customer support ?

Good luck
Mully

Thanks for the info much appreciated guys.

I think something has went pear shaped at their side though none of my accounts are now accesible from outlook express either. I have changed nothing in the setup and this was working fine up until yesterday.

Kinda sickening as I had just started my pr on new site when this happened and I only found out today.

I'll let you know what happens they say they are working to resolve it as quick as...that was 2 hours ago
