Default Upgrading to 3.1.5b and WS_FTP Pro - 01-08-2007, 11:28 AM

Dear Friends:

I am currently using 68 classifieds version 3.0.9 and i plan to upgrade it to 3.1.5b.

What i am doing is to create a copy of my site in a subfolder (same files and database) to upgrade it and test it.

My question is:

I am using WS_FTP Pro and when i upload the files to upgrade i am getting an error like: 550: Cannot create directory because the folder already exists. This is obvious because the idea is to overwrite the old folders and files with the new ones.

But i don't know wich settings i have to configure in WS_FTP Pro to overwrite the folders.

I will appreciate your help on this.

Julio..

Hi Julio,

I've got a couple versions of WS_FTP Pro (WinXP and W2K). I'm guessing you are using Win2K...

When the connection box is open (before you connect), highlight the connection and click 'Advanced Properties'. When viewing the 'Session' tab, make sure 'Receive Unique' and 'Send Unique' are not checked.

Hopefully that's the one.

Regards,
Jim
