Exclamation Paypal creditcard payment, no activation. - 06-17-2007, 10:33 AM

Hi,guys,

When I tested my paypal / creditcard payment I didn't get a activation of my advert.
Can someone tell me what could be the problem?
I've got the listing manualy approved set to "no".

Do you have the Payal payment provider (#1) setup properly?

Hi, Civ,

This is how I've setup my paypal provider:

Show As : Paypal & Creditcard
Active : yes
Demo : no
Paypal Email Address : [email protected]
Currency Code : EUR

At paypal I have the following:

The direct payment message(dutch DBB) is set to my site.(www.paardenverkoop.net)

I just remembered that I'm working on a temporary site....
My DNS is not yet set to www.paardenverkoop.net but it is
set to http://paardenverkoop.net because the old site is still working.
Could this be the problem?

I did the payment through creditcard, by the way....
Let me know....

P.s.: Does 68c work with API? Maybe it is possible that's the problem.....

Right now I'm not able to access your site at all, and if DNS is in flux then that could definitely be the problem (with both my access and Paypal's). When posting the initial transaction information to Paypal, 68C sends the postback URL for Paypal to use to send back the approved/denied information, which 68C then acts upon to determine whether or not to activate the listing (since you have manual approval turned off). Part of this postback URL is of course your domain name, so if dns is pointing it somewhere else then 68C will not receive the postback from Paypal.

Hi, Civ,

So the best way to determen if it works is to activate the dns to the new site and then test it ....
And it doesn't matter if I paid with paypal or creditcard?
