Usually when thing have been working and then just stop working its because your web host changed something. I would contact them and ask what, if anything they did, it may help Civ isolate the problem.

Hi Civ,

My previous classified script allowed me to add words or phrases to a banned list. Rather than substituting words like the current bad words filter, they would be shown another page I could configure ("your ad is not allowed") and the ad would be trashed.

It worked great, and it would be wonderful to have this functionality to your mod. I'd like to close their browser automatically when they try to submit spam!

I also sent you a note through your website asking if this will also be available for V4 and if there would be an additional cost of to upgrade from the 3.1x version?

Adding these additional keyphrase checks is something we plan to add in the next version, but we have no release date scheduled as yet. And you should have received an email reply yesterday from us about your other questions.

I responded via email, but wanted to post this publicly so people will know you didn't drop the ball - I'm behind.

I changed hosts, which is when the problem started. I'm now using MySyl 5 instead of 4, which I was using on the old host.

The interesting thing I discovered today is that the script is blocking everything because, I believe, it's just seeing the IP of the load balancer (that's what my host said) instead of the IP of the user. There's probably an easy fix - like maybe whitelisting the IP of the load balancer or something?

Hey guys...

I just upgraded to 3.1.10. The first time I attempted to go to the site, I got an error saying the mod_user.php was corrupt... I have tried re-uploading to no avail... so I have deleted the module for now, but want to re-install asap... any know problems with 3.1.10?

Can you verify that you have the latest ioncube encoders? You might also delete the files and then try to re-upload them for the module.

Dear John,

It seems to have worked itself out. It was very weird. I had trouble with two of the modules I had installed, this one and the maffo news mod.

Both did not seem to like the upgrade at first, but appear to be working now...

At least I think they are ... I am not receiving the errors I was experiencing after the upgrade. I deactivated and reactivated numerous times and finally gave up late Saturday night. But today when I logged in everything appears normal!

I guess I won't question it and just be happy that all is well!

Dawyatt, glad you got things worked out with your modules.

Barbara, I didn't hear back from you after our last email last week, so hopefully it wasn't eaten by a spam filter. Your host should be able to pass the visitor's IP through their load balancer. Otherwise, all of your traffic stats, etc are going to be worthless. If you didn't get our last email, let me know and I can send you the information via PM here. It was basically just a link where someone else had a similar problem and their host was able to fix it.
