Default Thum Nails - 04-21-2006, 09:40 AM

I have just come across this problem

1) Upload a pic (v3.1 defaults)
2) Oh no thum nails far to big
3) Alter in admin
4) Look at thum nails still the same
5) Upload another pics
6) Look at thum nails the first one is still the same BUT the second is ok

Now I presume the script does NOT resize the thums after alterations to the the admin.

So would I have to re-size ALL the files in the this folder?

I'm getting near to importing all my all Mysql data file into this new script from another script that I'm using.

It has over 19,000 pics full and thums

So would I have to convert ALL of those to the same size as this script puts them?

Yes our script resizes them at the moment they are uploaded. The only way I really see to do this would be through something like photoshop with the batch processing or some type of php script that will resize a whole directory.

However could you not make the settings the same as the original images this way you wouldn't have to resize any of them?

Hi Eric

Yes I have a program that does that it will resize a complete folder all to the same size, BUT it takes ages to do.
