Place it between <!-- // Header // --> and <!-- // Header // -->
I guess you already placed Your Classifieds picture there.

Is this what you want? Or you want to place it in some other place?

Default Two more questions - 02-07-2007, 03:44 PM

When I place my header into the space you told me to above it will work but only buy itself. I need to place it with the css so it has the same look and feel as the rest of my site. When I place the header in there with the php it gives me the following error:

Fatal error: Smarty error: [in layout.tpl.php line 29]: syntax error: unrecognized tag: font-size: 30px; color: #FFCC00; (Smarty_Compiler.class.php, line 439) in /home/therepti/www/www/classifieds/includes/classes/smarty/Smarty.class.php on line 1095

Question 1: If I cant place my css in there with the header where would you recomend me placing it?

Question 2: I can't have my header inside the frame with the rest of the classifieds I need my header to extend all the way to the top of the page. I want The frame with my classifieds to sit under my script. Would you have any sugestions on how I can get it there.

Thank You verry much for the support.

If you are going to put css into the layout file you need to wrap literal tags around it like this:
Code:
{literal} place css here. {/literal}

It is common practive to have all of your css inside one sheet, so you may want to consider having all of your css inside the 68 template style sheet.

The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta, held as a votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous.
