Memberships big problem

I bought a membership a called medium User+ with 10 listings. I placed all the listings and when I used all 10 listings and tried to place the 11th it gave me one option only, to purchase the single listing. There was no option to purchase another membership.

I then went tothe purchase membership and purchased a high user one with 20 listings. I went to the admin and activated the membership (completed the order) but it does not update the membership and it will not let me place more ads with purchasing.

The membership level does not update eventhough it shows in the order history.

If I then go to admin and delete the original used up membership, it then updates to the new one, but then all the ads on that account were deleted also
