Memberhips - Who uses them?
 

I am still in the building stage of my auto classifieds site. I'm trying to decide whether to offer memberships. My site will have three ad packages: Free, Basic and Premium. If I offer memberships they would be based on the ad packages. Do others with auto classified sites offer memberships? Are they profitable? Are they purchased very often? Any insight into memberships would be appreciated.

BTW, one reason I am concerned about the memberships is I can't get the authorization feature in memberships to work correctly at this time. Does it work properly for those who use memberships on their site?

Well I was trying to use them but stop :( as at this moment they not working properly, or maybe better to say they working not the way that I need.
My main concerns about memberships are:
1. Memberships are not renewable.
2. Memberships are not approved automatically, if you are using PayPal.
3. More than one membership - same customer.
I am waiting until :confused: these stuff will be fixed, because without these you will need all the time monitor memberships and do a lot of things manually.
