So I have an SSL certificate installed and I added the secure URL in the Admin Panel...however, I get a page doesnt exist error....so then I added the checkout.php file to the secure section and then I get an init.php error...I even added the includes folder along with the init.php file and the error still exists. Can some please inform me and others on how to actual secure the checkout?
Do I have move or copy certain files and folders to the secure part? Do I need to change permissions or something? Please help. I havent figured this out for 4 days now. I use CertOS as well....so the thread the other person posted who had the same error troubles about the Plesk doesnt help me. I have asked my server host and they said that everything is running properly on the secure part... Any info would be appreciated, thanks. |

If you're getting a 404 error that the page doesn't exist, then the webserver can not find that page.
The first suggestion that I would have is to double check and then triple check that your secure URL entered into the admin is indeed the correct address. I know it seems stupid, but we've all done this before. Something as simple as forgetting that the URL starts with "HTTPS" or not entering the "/" at the end of the URL. A simple typo or a missing character. -Mike

I have just attempted it again and I have tried with https:// and http:// and also with the ending / and plain for all four ways....still I get the 404 error....and I suppose to transfer files there? if so which files am I suposse to transfer to the secure server?
Not Found The requested URL /usercheckout.php was not found on this server. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. Last edited by cathouse911; 11-22-2008 at 02:10 PM. Reason: added error message |
