2 problems solved by change of Host.
I hope this isn't premature celebrating but as far as I can see, 2 problems I have had for some time seem to be OK with change of host. I had had a problem with the £ sign and another problem that host seemed to sort and then it came back was the uploading of images. Images of a normal size 1mb or so would lock up the checkout page leaving customers stranded with a not active ad.
John, Eric or Larry if you need any info for your records on the 2 host let me know. The main thing I have noticed is that the host with problems is running PHP 5 and the one thats OK is PHP 4. I just hope it has sorted it for good.

Yes, the xss filter has trouble on php5, and the image problem was probably due to a php configuration limit. It's good to hear that your problems are sorted out.
I think I've posted code some place on the php5 fix for the xss filter. If anyone else is having this problem, post here and I'll see if I can't dig the post or code up.

problem with php5
i have the same problem in php 5 my website doesnt work even doesnt install correctly, i need to know how to install my 68 classified in php 5
pd: my host is a gridserver from mediatemple (people says its hard to work)

I also want to add all coding is done on PHP 5 on my machine and tested with php 4 on our actual server.
