Default Not all listings show when I "search listings"

Hi guys,

Whenever I run a search listings, and select "show all", it only shows two listings, even though I have more.

All listings are present when browsing, though not when searching.

Why is this?

Please help.

Many thanks.\

Is this the search on the front end or in admin?

Do you have a link to your site?

Have you created or implemented any custom search pages or anything that may have messed it up?

Is your template 100% default and if not have you tried using the default, unmolested template to so if that one gives you the same problem?

Hi, thanks for your reply.

This problem occurs in both admin and front end search.

There have been some slight mods though only to the checkout. I doubt this is affecting it.

Any ideas on how I can fix this?

My site is nearly exactly the way I need it. Just a matter of weeding out all the small problems, which is how I came across this.

Thanks.

Im not sure what to tell ya on this, the results do seem a bit irregular.

What I have seen happen though is if you have test ads placed at different times and do category rearranging etc it can mess things up. I would delete all your ads and then place a handfull of new test ads and then test the search again to see if it clears up.

I had this problem before and someone was able to help me out.

But all the info was lost when the forums archive was lost. I also had to start my site from scratch.

Someone out there knows the solution....anyone??

I have noticed in the ADMIN section: when BROWSE LISTINGS , not all ads show!

I assume it was because GMT time may be 6 to 9 hours different from mine and it may be the next day (according to GMT time)

Just click LAST 24 HOURS or LAST WEEK and it will show them all, no biggie!

As far as running a search, mine shows them all if I just hit seach with it left blank and checked all!

Best I can do, but then again, I know nuttin!
