Default unable to read resource: "memberslist_user_main.htm"

This is another error we're seeing often in our error log, and is again something that was dealt with on the old forum but not here (yet ).

PHP Warning: Smarty error: unable to read resource: "memberslist_user_main.htm" in /home/r/public_html/includes/classes/smarty/Smarty.class.php on line 1095

Here is an old thread on the subject but I am not sure what version you are referring to so not sure if it applies.

As far as I can tell there is no call to that file made by 68C in v3.1.5 though.

So if thats the case and I had to guess whats happening I would bet that someone is running a script that crawls sites requesting the page "memberslist_user_main.htm" and since it doesnt exist the smarty class tosses out the general error.

memberslist_user_main.htm seems to be a file used by postnuke so it could be someone scouring the net for vulnerable systems.

I think you may be right about a vulnerability scanner - I find no reference to that file in Smarty.class.php.

Default Similar Problem

have another problem that I cannot resolve from using your discussion threads. I was updating my template style.css by changing some hex values for color. I posted the style.css file into the template’s folder, and then when I did that I got an error message and my site no longer lets me navigate down through my category structure.

mydoimain/category.php?type=46

This is the error message:

Warning: Smarty error: unable to read resource: "categories/subcategories.tpl.php" in /home/content/y/c/c/ycc2006/html/includes/classes/smarty/Smarty.class.php on line 1095

Warning: Smarty error: unable to read resource: "categories/subcategories.tpl.php" in /home/content/y/c/c/ycc2006/html/includes/classes/smarty/Smarty.class.php on line 1095

I can find no connection between my action and this error message since I did not touch the categories.php file.

I am using Frontpage 2003 as my html editor.

Can you double check the file categories/subcategories.tpl.php exists and is on the server? It should be located in templates/default/categories/subcategories.tpl.php
