It a nice idea - will let development consider that for a future release. You mean that not only can you ask for category specific listings but ones related to a state or indeed an extrafield.
Hi seymourjames, Also you could consider listing filter module. That could be very helpful when the user is in a state, the Carousel, Most Popular Listing and Featured, no show ads from whole dbase. I've tried reading the cookie, but i haven't had any luck.
The css horizontal listings and carousel already take account of the settings in the listing filter. This is explained in the documentation.
You're right, it is in the documentation. I thought it wasn't there because the filter from the plugin is not working on my site. I use fluid templates and I call the plugin: {css_listings_horizontal number=5 type="top"}, but when I change state/province the module doesn't filter. It is the same for carousel. Am I doing something wrong?
Send a ticket to support with all your details please if it is not working for you - admin control panel and FTP details. For the carousel you need to tell the function that the listing filter is on as described in the documentation.
