Hi, Im very new to this and I would like to see how to get ads able to show right when people go to the site, instead of them having to click on a category. Also how can I add google ads to my website? I have yet to download any kind of software, if i need to let me know which to download and the instructions please. Thanks for any help!

The first thing that I would suggest to you as you say that you are new is to read the documentation which will answer many of your questions.

This includes a section that is specific to adding advertising to your website.

Please post your 68 Classifieds type (Designer, Developer, hosted), version (4.0.x, 4.1.x) and template in your postings asking for help. This information will help you get better answers for your posts. A great place to do this is in your signature!

ok thanks! Maybe you can help me with this one problem im having. I tried to change the meta description and keywords from my template but before i even fo anything this error comes up

This file is not writable. Please CHMOD it to 777 if you wish to use this editor.

The documenatation was of no assistance to this. Is there something that I need to download in order to do all of this?

Again, I would refer you to the documentation. The keywords and descriptions are already built into the software script and are defined in the administration settings.

As far as the error that you are getting is referring to the permissions set for those files on your host's server. You would need to change them as the error said to do either within the host control panel for your web hosting account or if your ftp client has a permissions settings feature which many do, you could use that instead.
