Default Change Listing View

Hi

I'd like to have my listing show and work as per the attached image if possible.

The title is a link which replaces the "View Listing" table cell and the long description is shown under the title. The key details: clour, age, mileage are displayed as per image.

Any help gratefully accepted.

You would need the developer edition to be able to add fields to the query so that they can be displayed.

Here is a thread that covers getting the extra data.

MODIFICATION: Display your extra fields on the showlistings.tpl page

Oce the extra data is collected you would just have to modify the template to alter the default display behaviour.

Thanks for the response.

I'm as much use as a chocolate frying pan when it comes to code!

Is there a way of getting the mods done by a developer?

What if I wanted a custom template with various mods etc. Where would be the place to ask? Here or elsewhere on the forum?

You would need to upgrade to the developer version to actually modify any code. The layout in the templates would be standard html. You need to do both to accomplish what you want.

You could ask in the forum for someone intgerested to contact you or you could check the 68c developer list and try contacting them.

You may also be able to find someone on scriptlance.com or similar places.

Personally I am too busy at the moment to take on any more projects.
