Which css element is controlling the color of the font in the navigation area?
I have tried changing this: a.navlist:link { color: #ffffff; } but it has no effect.
Thanks

Look forthe section in the css called "link styles"

Hello,
I am actually trying to create my own template by following your tutorial

Your suggestion worked. I was focused on the Navigation Styles area...
Is there a way I could separate the color of the links in the left-side navigation area vs the links in the body? I am having trouble selecting a color for the link that looks good against both table background colors I have chosen.

Also, if you have a free moment, would you mind having a look at my previous post on 3/12 regarding table sizing issues? I could really use a few pointers here..

Thanks so much for the tutorial and your input - I appreciate it!

early,

The main font color would be at the very top of your css style sheet in the "body" color:#xxxxxx

The menu and navigation colors default would be in the navigation section in the main classes for each: .menu and .navlist

Also bear in mind that there are many, many other classes that will also affect text that is in the main portion (to the right of the leftmost column) of the sight such as .tableborder, th, table.main, etc.

Hope that helps.

Cheers,
Mike

early,

Perhaps this might also help you. This is a "Preview" page that you can open up in a web browser that is based on the css stylesheet of the default template. It will show you the name of every id and class as to how it is displayed.

Hope that helps.
