Default 68C 4.1.8 upgrade

I currently have 68C designer version 4.1.6 with Templatecodes fluid templates and modules.
My question is, if I do the upgrade to 68C 4.1.8 as instructed, will my templatecode templates and modules still function as before, or do I need to do anything else? I don't want to take any risks without asking first.
Thanks
Mike

You will be fine but if you do have any difficulties then please drop me an email. You should do the bug fix to the use of filter listings and the custom plugins anyway which was posted on the forum.

Thanks for your prompt reply.
My site is hosted with Hostgator and I've used their backup wizard to download a backup of the site and database. Should I do any other form of backup or take any other precautions before going ahead.
Thanks again
Mike

You should be good to go if you have a back-up of the FTP space and database. Make your local copy too - double safety. You were taught to be cautious. It is the best policy.
