Default Two Problems

What version of 68 Classifieds are you running?
v.4.0.9

What template are you using?
I think a default one

Please describe in detail the issue you are having:
1. Every time I try to preview the pages, I get an http 500 Internal Server Error telling me that the page can not be displayed.

2. In trying to fix this I managed to delete the map of Australia that I had on the first page, where people could click on what part of Australia they were in.

I am sorry if I seem really stupid, but I inherited this web page from the designed and I have little/no web design skills.

Difficult to diagnose the problem from just this information. Have you spoken to your hosting provider. They should be able to pinpoint it for you. Most are kind enough to do so. Otherwise you will need to contact perhaps one of the professionals in 68C and provide them with all your login details so one of them can take a closer look. It could be many things.
