Paypal Testing Issue

Please describe in detail the issue you are having:
Hi guys. I'm currently testing with Paypal Sandbox.
Everything seems fine, payment goes through, and the customer is redirected back to the thank you page. However they are then greeted with "Error Waiting for approval".
I have seen the previous post relating to this matter, and an upgrade seemed to sort that particular issue out, but as I'm running V4.1.10 I'm rather stumped.
I have no clue if this is a Paypal issue or if its something I have missed completely.

Any guidence would be appreciated.

Ive had nothing but issues with the paypal sandbox myself. I would just have a friend prachase an ad at regular price to test your site and then log into your paypal account and give them a refund.

On closer inspection, you're probably right guys. God but that Sandbox is frustrating!
I'll soldier on and test with micropayments and refunds.

Not sure if this will help but last year I had similiar problems with Sandbox and testing IPN and Eric guided me to a fix, after trying micropayments:

If you have followed the steps and your site is still not approving orders placed through Paypal then please try the debugging steps below:

First make sure you do not have auto return featured turned on in your Paypal account.

Open the file paypal.php and locate this line:

$debugmode=FALSE;

Change it to TRUE. Then run another transaction and you should get an email with a bunch of debug information. Take this and post it on our forums for help or submit a ticket.

OK I finally got it after spending about an hour messing with my paypal account. Just in case any of you run across my problem here is how I fixed it.

-Log into your Pay Pal account.

-Go to your profile

-Under Selling preferences click "website payment preferences". Here you will find all the options to make changes to how you receive payments.

-Under "Encrypted Website Payments" You can block or unblock Non-encrypted Website payments. I had mine turned on.
Now when I click on "continue" on my website, it takes me to my own paypal login to complete the transaction.
