418 template problems and database

Please describe in detail the issue you are having:

Just upgraded from 4.9 to 418

Problem inherited from 4.9, some of my adverts are a few years old and I on the modify listing page with the olders adverts people cant edit text and change images, the modify images link not there.

New problems with 418

on the home page nothing showing past featured listing text

The templates changed between 4.0.X and 4.1.X.

but Im testing with all the new temps, I think its just the home page.

I see the new plugins have been pulled out from includes?

Im sure the listing edit images and text is a database packages problem as new listings dont have a problem

We only know what your doing if you tell us and I am still not clear on your exact scenario so not sure I can be of any help.

Plugins are now located in the plugins folder in the root of the classified site.

the Nrand shows randum normal ads

tried the new plug in code from docs, no go

what does no go mean it doesnt isplay anything? Did you move your custom plugin to the new plugins folder?

The plugin as Larry says is not in the right place or the pathnames in the plugin are incorrect. If nothing displays it is the former. If you get 404 errors when you click an empty image holder then it is probably the latter. Without a screenshot, it is difficult to tell.
