Problem substracting data from database

Please describe in detail the issue you are having:
When a user edits his or her details the details are saved in the mysql.
But on listing he or she created the old details are still visible (only for the phone).

I tried changing the details in the admin and again its saved in the mysql but not in the listing.
I tired emptying my history and cookies but no luck so far.

p.s. i debugged the page and the details in the debug are old also, the phone is not the same as in the mysql database in the users class

68C can only get data from the database, the old phone number cant be stored anywhere else so if its right in the database you have to ask yourself where the "old" number is comming from. For example are you mixing up an extra field called phone and the users registration details?

Hi,

I am using {$phone} which I think is an account field.

But if i place a listing and change my number (step 6 - check your details step) it only usses that number for that listing.
So if I have 10 listings and i want to change my phone number i have to change it 10 times?

So phone is a listing field,
But is there a way to change it for every field?

Hi,

This is what I checked:

- The phonenumber ($phone) is 06......

I checked in the admin if the alternate adress isnt checked, it isnt
The phone linked to this acocunt (manage users in the administration) is empty.
The phone is the alternate adres is empty,
The phone field in the mysql is empty.

I really really dont understand it............

I beleive phone in step6 is for the "order" and no there is no way to change them all aside from running a manual query against the order table.

So the input in step 6 is used to display in the listing layout (viewlisting).
But why does the account also has a phone number?

So there are 2 phone fields, one defined during checkout for the listing, and one defined during registration in the account....

Listing 1: title 1111111111
changed during step 6 phonenumber to : 111111111111

when the listing was created: phone: ..


Listing 2: title 222222
changed during step 6 phonenumber to : 22222

when the listing was created: phone: 111111111111111

Listing 3: title 3333333
changed during step 6 phonenumber to : 333333333333

when the listing was created: phone: 222222222

So its also not taking the recent changes...... i created a ticket because its getting really complicated

On a stock install the phone is only stored in the users table. If you created an extra field for phone then that may be causing the confusion.

Are you using the alternative address module by any chance? This module by the way was discontinued quite a while ago.
