Ray the easiest way would be to go to administration -> manage listings then click the expiration link which will resort. With that you can resort based off when they expire and it will show them in the list.

Also keep in mind the system does delete expired ads after a while as well.

A solution to the problem of expired listings: you can present different content on expired pages to avoid duplicate content on those urls. I present a set of randomly chosen ads with a tag cloud (also randomly generated). From an SEO perspective it is a good idea to do this or your site can start to look like it has hundreds of duplicate content pages all saying - sorry this ad has expired.

For example;

Beautiful Architect's House In Arieges :670

now look at this

/listing-68987-Beautiful_Architects_House_In_Arieges.html

The first ad is current but the second does not exist.
