Default Set the order of RSS feed to random?

Hi all:

I'm using the RSS feed with SimplePie to display linked images on our home page - which is outside of our 68 Classifieds directory.

Ideally what I'd like is a random set that changes each time the page is refreshed. I've tried turning off SimplePie's sort order but it has no effect, I assume because the feed is already sorted.

I've seen the plugin available for purchase here but not sure if this will work outside of the 68 directory...

Any ideas how I can achieve this?

I have just done this for the listings on our home page that are pulled from classifiedmods.com site. I can post the changed file so you can see how I did it but it has other custom changes so you may not want to use the file.

Would like to take a look at your code when you get a chance to post it.

Thanks!

Hi Eric,
Got the file - thanks. Would like to compare it to the resulting page - but I took a look on your home page and I don't see any random listings - or any listings at all. Is it me? Or am I looking at the wrong home page?

No you are correct. I later decided to not use that and instead sort listings by rating from the rating mod. I would recommend just looking at the switch statement because that is the part I defined rand.
