Default editing the 'contact the owner bit'

hello,

Just a quick question, I have my site all set, where 'contact the owner' email form with captcha shows up at the bottom of all listings (even for guests)

How do I go about adding one more field in there (currently it has Your Name: Your Email: and a Message Box)

I need to add a few more fields into that. Is there an easy way to do that in the templates area, or am I modifying some TPL pages?

Thanks!
Todd

One thing to consider, that form is basically an e-mail so when you fill out an e-mail how many fields do you have?

to e-mail address
subject
body

With that in mind any extra form fields you create are not going to be seperate fields because e- mail doesnt have "fields". You are going to have to start by editing the template and add your extra form fields to it. Then you will need to edit the recieving php script to pull the data from those new fields and concat that data with the variable for the body of the e-mail.

What extrafields do you want to appear in the email that gets sent to the customer? Are they predefined as extrafields in the 68C admin panel (consequently held in the database) or are they 'freeform' - ones the customer will fill in but are not held in the database.

We will be working on this. A module to allow you to grab the extrafields and define freeform fields and return them all to the advertiser.

A phone number field would be good.

Basically, a set of 'freeform' fields that the buyer can fill in (required and not required). Seems like a useful module to have. We will think about doing this one.
