Default Run 2nd copy 68C on local machine....

My question is: Can I run a second copy of 68C on my local server for testing and modification purposes? (I only purchased one copy)

The reason being is that I am working with the default template and designing around it's colors, layout etc for now to get my site up and running quickly.

After my site is operational, I'de like to work on a new layout and design for future changes and modifications to my site without crashing the live site.

My local server IS NOT connected to the internet in any way. I use it stricly for local design and testing purposes.

Thanks,
Randy

I use a local WAMP server for development/testing, Eric knows i do and hasnt said anything. so i assume its fine as long as its not open for the public to see.

Yes, you can use a localhost for development. Just use "localhost" as your key.

Great Thanks, I just wanted to be sure and not get myself into trouble.

I also run WAMP and thats pretty much all I use it for.....I'm beyond using my Windows Server software.....prefer *NIX style servers now.

Another I like for simplicity on a windows box is MOWES Server, seems pretty good too.

It's handy when your working on and testing scripts and/or website layout. That's all I use them for.
