The temporary domain name that I am using and the domain name that I entered in 68CL admin match.

Or do I need to enter the new domain name, even if I haven't changed the DNS entry?

I am really stuck with this...

The point is unless you actually change the DNS entry it likely isnt going to work.

Im not following exactly where you are in this whole process. And, if you cant submit forms in 68C admin there is a very good chance the URL you are changing in the 68C admin is not making it into the database.

What you need to do is use phpmyadmin, or what ever tool you are comfortable with, and look at the database to make sure the REAL domain name currently in DNS for your site is also what is defined for your 68C admin. Once done, clear /template_c.

Hi, first I had entered the temporary domain name in the 68C customer area, and the same URL in my admin area, but it didn't work. I tried to enter the domain name that I have in mind in both areas, but still the same problem...
Now, the field for the domain name in the 68C customer area is not editable anymore.

Man, you'd think this is a straighforward thing, but it isn't!

Any help is most welcome!
Thanks

What exactly do you need help with? As I already stated you need to check the value thats stored in the database to make sure it matches the current domain name in DNS.

I dont know what tools you have available to you so cant be more specific.

You will want to edit or at least look at the table "admin" which will have a prefix based on what you chose at installation time. In that table is a field called "url" and it will hold the current value. Make sure that value is what your current DNS domain is set to.
