Very nice Greg! Clean and minimal which I guess is just right for the scientific community, and I really like your header image. I'd adjust your css file to remove underlining (decoration) from your links but that's just my preference.

Also, you have a lot of empty space in your top right corner, why not place a simple Search Box there?

Thanks for the feedback.

The client has since requested a bunch of color changes which has thrown everything off balance, back to the drawing board....

Take another look if you have a minute, but it has really become a bit mixed and a work in progress again.
