Default Can users place html in description field?

I tried unsuccessfully to put html in the description field on the demo.
is there a setting to allow this to be possible?
I did see where a link to a website would be allowed but i need to be able to place other links to things as well. (pdf downloads, virtual tours, etc)
Thanks and Merry Christmas!

Yes, but you'd need the developer version. I think you could just add the tags you want to allow or remove the striptags function altogether.

Default will get developer version

Thanks,
I will forward this to my tech person.
Where specifically should they look to modify/change to the correct code?

Default

usercheckout.php - to allow input of html during ad creation
usermodifylisting.php - to allow input of html during ad modification
administration/addlisting.php - to allow admin to input html during creation
administration/modifylisting.php = to allow admin to input html during modification.

I think that is all the places ads are created modified. It has been a while since I've actually looked at these files so you might need to also look in includes/classes/kernel/Listings.php if the 4 files above are not giving the correct result.
