Default FireFox 3.5

FireFox 3.5 has finally been released. It is fast, but not as fast as Apple's Safari 4.0.

Updates for the firebug plugin are also available for full compatability.

Download it from Mozilla directly here mozilla.com

Until recently I was a die hard Internet Explorer user, just because that's what the majority of our users are using. But since I've downloaded IE 8 (and not caring much for it) I've been using FireFox more and more.

It seems most problems myself or my users have encountered were resolved (or worked around) by using a different browser.

Thanks for the update Mike, I'll check out the new FireFox.

The biggest benefit of Firefox aside from it being more compliant is the developer tools tools available for it. Anyone who does not make use of of firefox and its available tools must not value their time or the time of their clients.

Yes I can't live without web developer, firebug, yslow, speedy, etc... It saves so much time and so helpful with debugging.

I want to curse every time I run into a JS error with IE.

I love Firefox. I've got it loaded down with 8 plugins and it takes forever on the initial load but once loaded it's fast. If I just want a quick look at something I use Google Chrome. Also use IE to check for compatibility issues.

It's amazing how different browsers render a page.

I've only been working with development/web sites for a couple of years... and nearly everyday, I think to myself....
