Sigma Please describe in detail the issue you are having: I hate to say this but I seem to be getting more and more issues everyday... and it was all going so well... anyway, today's issue is: The images won't load once selected, it just does nothing... however, if I refresh it seems to work - although pretty frustrating for someone who has just entered all their ad details beforehand. Has this been seen before? Additionally, if I now go to my ads to edit the half created one, all I can do is make a payment... which doesn't really help if I haven't got the ad looking right... Is this a Sigma/Templatecodes fuction/design or 68C? Thanks Tom
Looking into this futher (as it's just happened again!!) - if once i'm on the image section I go back to the ad details and click save and then retry the image upload, it works... any reason for this? I can't really expect my users to do that procedure...
This sounds like are using TemplateCodes checkout process. This could include whether you have activated and use the included TemplateCodes modules, image_upload and quick_checkout. You didn't say whether or not you are using these modules or not, so no one here could say for sure. You most likely are using them as to use the TemplateCodes template, you have to activate the TemplateCodes module which turns on those other modules by default (from my memory). Have you referred to the instructions for the TemplateCodes modules and done the setup/settings for these?
Hi Mike-N-Tosh, Yes, I am using their modules (both) - as I mention, it does work from time to time, just sometimes it is not... it's almost as if though that part of the script is not loading or something... I would first try to isolate which module is causing the issue. Try deactivating the image_upload and see if you still have the issue or vice versa.
This problem is most likely your hosting provider blocking Flash files. Ask them to 'whitelist' your site for flash files. They will understand why. To run the QC module you have to have the image upload module installed. Given your payment gateway issues I do wonder whether you have set up the config file for the QC module. Can you confirm that you have? Also do clear the contents of your templates_c folder and your browser cache.
Seems this image issue hasn't gone away after all... I've just done a clean run through with a new account - exactly the same issues... Images selected but not loading Resaved Ad info Images now loading however no thumbs generating No preview images Ad loaded with images anyway... In regards to the host, I have a dedicated server with 1and1... but as mentioned, it does work from time to time, so wouldn't that rule out the server config? Thanks TOm
Only just saw this - the forum is getting hit by a lot of spam. Make sure flash files for the site are whitelisted. Then check if the problem exists on different browsers. Empty the templates_c folder too.
